Dr. Judy Huey D.D.S. – Scottsdale, AZ

In high school Dr. Judy volunteered at a U.S. Public Health Service Hospital and was taught chair-side dental assisting skills by the dentists on staff. She thoroughly enjoyed working with the young dentists who came to work at the clinic after graduating from dental school. Dr. Judy says the dentists were passionate about their work and eager to share their knowledge. Their enthusiasm was contagious and Dr. Judy was caught up in it. Excelling at assisting with a growing fascination for the field of oral health, she was strongly encouraged by the dental staff to pursue dentistry as her vocation.

Voted a “Top-Rated Dentist”

Dr. Judy is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry, receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1987. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Arizona Dental Association. She was a California State Board Dental Examiner, and served on the Peer Review Board of the San Francisco Dental Society. Dr. Judy was voted one of the Bay Area’s top-rated dentists by the Bay Area Consumer’s Checkbook magazine.

After practicing dentistry in San Francisco for over 18 years, she, her husband Brian and their menagerie of two cats and two parrots moved to Scottsdale in search of a better climate and an improved lifestyle. Dr. Judy believes that open communication is paramount to establishing a trusting long term patient-dentist relationship. Every visit involves discussing your concerns and expectations and ensuring your comfort during each phase of treatment.

Teri – Office Manager

Teri has worked in the dental field for over 20 years. After college and receiving her CDA degree, she worked in orthodontics and general dentistry. Teri and her husband have three grown children and three grandchildren. She enjoys the arts, her dogs and loves chocolate!

Lorita – Scheduling Coordinator/Receptionist

Lorita is originally from Winslow (standing on the corner), AZ.  She has been in dentistry for over 10 years starting with chairside assisting to now learning the front desk administrative duties.  Lorita is a single parent of a 13 year old daughter who is her rock and her world.  She is family oriented, and enjoys her morning coffee and relaxing at home with her daughter.

Karen – Dental Hygienist

Karen has been in the dental field for over thirty years.  She began her interest in Dentistry with a professional internship program during her senior year at Mesa High School then graduated 4 years later with her dental hygiene degree from Phoenix College.  She is a Valley native and 4th generation Arizonan.  She is the mom to 4 terrific children and 3 adorable grandchildren.  She enjoys traveling, photography, tennis, dining out, boating, Broadway shows, museums, music and anything with her family.  She is excited to join the team and is looking forward to getting to know our wonderful patients.

Valerie – Dental Hygienist

Valerie graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She provides a gentle approach to dental hygiene. Making sure her patients feel welcome and appreciated is a top priority. For Valerie, the most rewarding part of being a dental hygienist is seeing positive results as her patient’s oral care improves. She loves being part of a caring team who provides individualized treatment to each patient. Val loves spending time with her husband and two children, hiking, cooking and watching baseball.

Audrey – Dental Hygienist

Audrey has over 20 years of experience as a dental hygienist in family and pediatric practice. She graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of New Mexico. She received specialty training in orofacial myology in 2017, is a board certified myofunctional therapist, and is knowledgeable in airway dentistry and tongue/lip ties. Like a true mid-westerner, Audrey brings a friendly, personal approach to the care she delivers. Audrey loves family time with her husband and four children, enjoying the outdoors hiking and camping. She relishes quiet time and reading.

Melissa – Dental Hygienist

Melissa studied at Phoenix College and graduated with an Associate of Applied Sciences in Dental Hygiene in 2017. She has wanted to be a Hygienist since she was 4 years old after her first trip to the Dentist. Melissa makes every effort to stay on top of current developments in dentistry. To that end, she maintains the highest levels of accreditation and takes advantage of ongoing education, and spends her free time volunteering at AZMOM (Arizona Mission of Mercy) providing free dental care.
Melissa is an Arizona native, married her amazing husband Chris in 2019 and they have a Rottweiler dog named Ollie. She enjoys traveling with her husband and they love to scuba dive.
