Do you or your bed partner snore?

Snoring is so common (up to 50% of adults snore) that most people think it’s normal or even funny.
Loud disruptive snoring can drive your bed partner out of your bedroom. A loud snorer can be noisier than a crying baby, a motorcycle or a jackhammer!

What causes Snoring?

Snoring is caused by vibration of the soft tissues at the back of your throat. During sleep, your lower jaw and tongue drop against the back of your throat, constricting your airway. Large tonsils and bulky neck tissue contribute to this problem.
This constriction decreases the oxygen flow to your organs including your brain.

Why is Snoring a Problem?

Snoring can be a sign of more serious health problems such as sleep disturbed breathing.
Here are 2 sleep and snoring questionnaires that you and your bed partner can fill out to see if you or your loved one need a complimentary evaluation to determine if your snoring is just snoring or a symptom of a more serious health issue.
